I explored memory, home, and familial connections in Konya, Turkey, where my parents grew up and my grandparents still live. I designed, printed, and bound the book myself and covered the hardcover with black linen cloth. I glued a photograph from the book onto the cover, selecting this particular image because it encapsulates the essence of the project—a reflection on home, memory, and belonging. The book measures 22 x 30 cm (approximately 8.7 x 11.8 inches). I printed the book on matte-coated 170 gsm paper and hand bound in 16-page signatures.

The interior spreads show my family captured in Konya, Turkey, where my family's roots lie. The photos capture the warm, everyday moments that form the heart of the project. I took these photos with my Canon AV-1 film camera. I used Adobe InDesign to design the layout of the book and Adobe Lightroom to refine the tonal qualities of black-and-white photographs.
